Vocalist Cathy Chemi and trumpeter Skip Stine were featured members and toured the world with the Harry James Orchestra for many years.

Along with the Reading Pops, the husband-wife team from central Pennsylvania will take you on a swinging musical journey back to the golden era of the big bands.

Ann Hampton Callaway

The annual “Pops Holiday” concert features the dynamic Ann Hampton Callaway, one of the finest singer-songwriters of our time.

The statuesque performer dazzles music lovers as a singer, pianist, composer, lyricist, arranger, actress, and educator.

Ann’s talents have made her equally at home in jazz and pop as well as on stage, in the recording studio, on TV and in film. She is best known for starring in the hit Broadway musical Swing!, and for writing and singing the theme to the successful TV series, The Nanny.

Ann is a devoted keeper-of-the-flame of the great American songbook. Her live performances showcase her warmth, wit and passionate delivery of standards, jazz classics and originals.

Jane Monheit will headline the final Pops series concert that also will be part of the 20th annual VF Outlet Berks Jazz Fest.

Now firmly established as one of the world’s foremost jazz vocalists, Jane has the ability to make people stop and listen.

This sultry, honey-voiced singer will blend her sexy and romantic energy with the Pops to present a selection of songs celebrating love in many moods and guises.
